• U.S. Chamber’s Donohue Applauds Senate Vote in Favor of Keystone XL Pipeline

WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue issued the following statement on the U.S. Senate’s passage of a budget resolution supporting the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline:
 
“The U.S. Chamber applauds a bipartisan majority of the Senate for sending a strong message to President Obama that the Keystone XL pipeline is in America's national interest. Tonight's Senate vote is reflective of the vast majority of Americans who understand that Keystone will create jobs and much needed revenue while helping America become less reliant on overseas energy. We look forward to the completion of the State Department's process so that this important project can move forward.”
